Penning a New Chapter

Ah, here we are again… beginning anew.

Some years ago, I gave up on the idea of writing because my chronic illnesses and their subsequent medications make it difficult for me to focus and even coherently put words together sometimes. Yet, there is a part of me that must always try; a part of me that must always create. Whether it’s writing, drawing, photography, or roleplaying — I must have a creative outlet otherwise I’m not happy.

I’m not me.

After mulling it over for a while, I began getting back into my creative hobbies, but casually instead of going at them whole-hog like I used to. Everything in moderation, as the saying goes. The “catte” part of this blog comes from my love of felines — “catte” is the equivalent of “cat”, like “doggo” is the equivalent of “dog”. Don’t ask me why, I don’t make up these things. I liked it, it fit, so here we are.

I don’t know where this new chapter is going. I’m not even sure what all I plan to write or do or share with all of you. I just hope that you’ll enjoy the journey.

I certainly plan to.
